A bit of history… The Dickies brand was originally known as the Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company, making and selling bib-overalls in Southwest America. Beginning as a small family business, Dickies is now a multinational company supplying a vast range of high-quality workwear all around the world. However, more than this, the 90s saw the Dickies brand being worn as part of the streetstyle movement, with the original 847 trousers and the horseshoe t-shirt becoming significant fashion must-haves. A leading brand in the denim industry, Dickies also became hugely popular for their jeans, dungarees and jackets and is still considered a substantial competitor in the streetwear market.

 

Sported by figures like Gwen Stefani, Avril Lavigne and Tupac, Dickies clothing was championed by celebrities who matched its items with their streetstyle and punk aesthetic. Notably, Eminem wore Dickies dungarees while performing, pairing the denim with a white Slim Shady mask and black Nike gloves.
